The Japanese love their pets, and this little rascal was handed to me by its proud owner outside Ōsaka-jō kōen. I don't know this cow-boy's name - all I know is that he is well-used to be handled by strangers (that, or he was given a serious dose of Kalm Aid) - he was just so cosy, melting into my arms, not one bit nervous. Brought a smile to my face. So glad we're now home to our two boys, though. There were lots of hugs and running around when they got home after the holidays.
And in case you're wondering, Doggles is where you can buy special sun-glasses for your furry friends.
