Béal Bán

Béal Bán (it means White Mouth) was a quiet beach (near Ballyferriter). Mostly locals. Small car park. North facing. But really lovely. Sheltered bay. It looked like a good spot to swim - no crazy waves. But of course I didn't even place a toe in the water. Killjoy that I am. Beautiful views all around. So I did plenty of watercolour sketching. Not sure how I'd be able to capture the beauty of it in a larger painting. It's like the vista is to wide to take it all in. Maybe I'll paint details only, like rock and seaweed?
